Prince's Palace:

Origin of 1191 as Genoese fortification. There followed numerous extensions. In the 15th century, the complex was converted into a garrison. Afterwards conversion to a palace and since 1520 the representative buildings were added.

One of the most famous casinos in the world, in Monte Carlo, a district of Monaco. Opening on 18 February 1863.
