The Eiffel Tower is a 324-meter-high iron truss tower. Built between 1887 and 1889, the building was erected as a monumental entrance portal and lookout tower for the World's Fair commemorating the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. Client: Gustave Eiffel. Architect: Stephen Sauvestre.
